The VR tour I just created in P2vr 5 Pro look great on my computer, but after uploading it to my server at Godaddy.com all the buttons and hotspot icons are little blue squares with question marks. What could the problem be? I did change the name of the root folder, but nothing inside that folder. Thanks

Hi Chris777,
I did check for file presence of the file 'images/button_image_right.svg' and it seems to be available on the server. However, it is "delivered" as plain text (and not displayed as an image), so I believe you should verify the MIME setting of SVG on you server!
Cheers,
Matthias

thank you all for your help!
I made some progress. I accessed my .htaccess file, through the file manager on my Godaddy control panel, and I added the lines
AddType image/svg+xml svg
AddType image/svg+xml svgs
and now the control buttons in my skin are showing up and working.
But.... my hotspot icons are still the little blue squares with the question mark. So, does anyone know why it might be that the hot spot icons are not showing up?

Aslo, I could never expect my clients to have to jump through this hoop. So why should any of even use something we can't deliver to our clients?
thanks again.
Chris

Broken hotspots [little blue arrows] mean that in the pano2vr project links to the graphics does not exist. Project says that the path to the folder containing those graphics does not exist.
Means probably the folder containing those graphics did not get uploaded to the server. OR the folder path inadvertently got changed as a result of relocating or renaming the folder. Anyway the link to the graphics is there.... it just can not find the graphic file set.
What I would do .. is rebuild the project that would correct the Hotspot links and upload all the content of the new /output folder to the server
By the way... I did check you GDC project. Great imaging by the way. No blue arrows for us... using Chrome on a PC.

Dave, thanks! you are right, on Chrome, on my Mac, the missing hotspots logo, (small white circle on a crosshair) shows up fine.
So the problem is not with my project files that are uploaded, its with safari? Why would safari see all the SVG files except the hotspot icon.

Hmm so it might be an Apple Safari browser issue.
I suspect you are referring to the hotspot target MOUSE OVER and see the single image of the NEXT panorama
With Chrome on a PC we see a small thumbnail image of the NEXT panorama.
Guess we need help. Would someone else on a MAC and Safari please check Chris's project at : http://mannphoto.com/z/gdctechnics/GDCTechnicsVRTour/
And tell us " its with safari? Why would safari see all the SVG files except the hotspot icon"
Thanks for your help in advance

I see the right, left, up, down, full screen, last pano, next pano SVG icons, AND I see the next pano thumbnail when I click on the small blue square with eh question mark, but I do not see the round circle on top of the crosshair cross, UNLESS, I am using the Chrome browser.

Hi Chris,
It could simply be you need to clear the cache in Safari which is notorious for such things.
Regards to:
You will find this setting under the Advanced tab of the HTML5 output.
This will get around the SVG issues but of course SVG's are better for quality so should be used wherever possible.

Quite right, but their web developer should know what to do, but if not you can ask Pano2VR to convert SVG's to PNG's to prevent the problem.Aslo, I could never expect my clients to have to jump through this hoop. So why should any of even use something we can't deliver to our clients?
