Re: user prompt

EXACTLY what I was thinking about. Not sure why I didn't come across it in my research. Regardless, though this is great! Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction, Hopki.

user prompt

Hi there, I'm thinking of implementing a user prompt for iframe embedded 360s. I love the user experience, for example on https://360player.io/ that says "click and drag to look around" First big question is how to have an animated icon. I tried using an animated GIF in the skin, but had n...

Re: Images not showing on output

Thanks for the response! In the meantime I set up the project from scratch, essentially duplicating the previous settings to the best of my ability, and it's now working :? Not fully sure what setting or item I had adjusted to prevent them from showing in the previous project, but I've moved on to o...

Images not showing on output

Hi guys, Somewhat of a newbie question here. I have succesfully added flat images to a pano as elements before. However, with a recent project, they are not showing up when I output the pano. For this project, I successfully brought the images in, and I can see them in pano2VR. However, when I outpu...

Re: full screen viewport vs full screen computer

Hi there, Just resurrecting this old thread. I too would like to be able to make an image full browser, not full screen. Back in 2014 Hopki mentioned that this was slated for the next release. Hopefully that did happen! However, I can't find any information of how to implement it if it is now part o...

Animated "click and drag" notification

This is a minor point, but something that I think would add a nice amount of polish to a pano2vr file. Can anyone advise on how to embed a motion graphic that will advise the viewer to click and drag on a 360? For example if you look at https://360player.io/ They have a nice little icon that pops up...

Prevent iFrame from overtaking scrolling input

Hi there, I'm working on embedding 360s created by Pano2VR on a website. One minor issue I've noticed: When scrolling on the page with an input like a Mac mouse, or 2 finger scroll, the iframe "captures" the input. IE when the mouse is hovering over the iFrame, it's impossible to scroll mo...

Re: Bypass view limits on fly in

Aha. thanks for the pointer. If I understand correctly, it sounds like a potential "workaround" for what I want to achieve would be a fly in projection in one mode, and then the projection for normal viewing in another mode. I will experiment with this as soon as I can and report back on h...

Re: Bypass view limits on fly in

Just wanted to gently bump this up in case anyone has any insight. If it's not possible, I'd love to suggest it as a potential feature for future versions.

Re: Easiest way to make 360 appear on my URL

Yes, I'll definitely be on the lookout for your tutorial! I was using Mountain Duck for uploads, but find it to be extremely slow compared to even the web interface, so certainly would be interested to hear if there's a better solution. Good to know about the caching issue. I haven't experienced it ...

magic mouse/middle mouse button behaviour

I am embedding some 360 images as part of a longer page. When hovering my magic mouse over an image, I am no longer to scroll up and down on the page. I believe this would also be an issue with anyone using a middle mouse button to scroll up and down on the page. Is there any setting I can adjust (n...

Bypass view limits on fly in

Hi there, As I get more familiar with the software, here's one quirk I'm noticing: Whatever values I have set for the Fly-In will be superceded by the values in viewing limits. The logic must be that pano2vr won't show you anything on the fly in that you are limited from seeing when the user is cont...

Re: Easiest way to make 360 appear on my URL

Thank you, thank you, thank you Tony!!! This was extremely helpful, and exactly what I was looking for. I'm sure others will find it very useful too. I'm also thrilled to see that I can set this cname forward up once, and then create multiple subfolders on the Amazon server which are all mapped over...

Easiest way to make 360 appear on my URL

Hello everyone, I've spent the last couple weeks getting to know the ins and outs of the software. Very excited to be learning more about it. I am currently hosting my panoramas on Amazon S3 which is working great. My portfolio website runs on a template site (Squarespace), which has limitations on ...
