360Texas, you should know there are decent browsers on PC too : Firefox, Opera, GoogleChrome
On my Mac the rendering of HTML5 is better in Firefox than in Safari.
On my iPod the result is good in iCab but crashes Safari sometimes.
As IPad2 works it should work on iPad3, I hope the quality will be enough for Retina display.

SebastianS, vielen dank for testing, here I need only 7 seconds, may be some traffic jam.

Hi AlainC,
For me they took a while to download to my iPad second generation and it crashed my first generation iPad.
The iPad first generation has half the memory of the second so I would recommend the following.

HTML5 output:
Settings Tab 1440.
Mobile Tab
Max Screen Size 1024 = Cube face size 1024 with image compression 80
Max Screen Size 960 = Cube face size 700 with image compression 80
Max Screen Size 480 = Cube face size 416 with image compression 80

The above will show 1440 on computer and iPad third generation iPad.
1024 on first and second generation iPad
700 on iPhone 4
416 on iPhone 3

The problem with this is the second generation iPad which is capable of showing 1440 will be forced to show 1024 because of its screen size.
Regards,
Hopki

Cool, now opens on the first generation iPad too.
I would limit your zoom though, say Min 40 Max 90.
Apart from that all good. :D

I starded working on others panos, as those are cylindrical I need to tweak for each maximum cube size and minimum zoom, maximum is set automatcially by cylinder's height. I need also to add point hotspots as area hotspots are not yet supported.
Thanks for your help.

Much more faster now. Using 3G on my iPad2 now it is opening within 4 Seconds.

I used a 16-80 zoom at 16 mm, equivalent to a 24 mm, to take 12 photos and builded the pano with Hugin.
