I've been testing dropbox to host 360s.
I've noticed that HTML5 multiresolution panos seem to load more slowly, and don't seem to cache (i.e., if I spin around in a circle, the images that already loaded before need to load again). Tile size 480, levels at 480, 960, 1440. All other settings at default.
Example: https://db.tt/0Q8W0SHn
Previously created HTML5 panos that use mobile versions instead of multiresolution don't have this issue. I was using the following settings: 480 - 416, 960 - 700, and 1024 - 1440
Example: https://db.tt/agQ5M4ZE
I'd prefer to use multiresolution, but I'm concerned about performance. Any clues on what's happening here?
I'm on Mac OS 10.9.4 with the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, etc.
Thanks!
Joe

Hi Joe,
This is know if you don't select Load at startup on the lowest levee in the multi resolution tab.
As far as speed is concerned downloading from secure sights is slower, I discovered this when looking at the Facebook embed template which requires this.
Regards,
Hopki

Hi Joe,
No because you don't want to over fill the cache, mobile devices can only hold so much then they start to drop files in favour of new ones.

Hopki
