Hi,

never had that problem before: I have built a pano with four hotspots opening text and starting audio. Works fine in one pano but two of them aren´t working (no audio) when I change the pano. I added an example. Two of the hotspots (up, left and right) have no sound. Can someone help me? I already rebuilt everything, but I cannot find the bug!

Kind regards
Petix

Hi,
The Skin IDs don't seem to be set.
I downloaded your project, then I noticed the hotspot to move to node two had the Skin ID: hs and was the same in appearance as all the other hotspot images.
In the Skin the Hotspot template and hotspot image used for navigation has the ID: hotspot

After changing the skin ID in the Hotspot editor I can click a hotspot and play the sound, then click the navigation hotspot to move to node two and click another popup hotspot and the sound also plays.
Looks like its just down to Skin ID's.

Hopki

Hi Hopki,

the hotspot appearances in the webexample are different and there is no change if I change the hotspot-ID into: hotspot.

Please have a look at the attached photo: There are two different kinds of hotspots, one to change from one panorama to the other and the information hotspot. The two information hotspots that I marked aren´t playing sound… I don`t understand that. The hotspots are working fine in panorama 1 and the same hotspots are not o.k. in panorama 2. :(

Hi Petix,
One of the problems is the project I downloaded is different to the one shown, your pointing towards hotspot in a completely different panorama.

All I can tell you is when I downloaded your project and set the Skin ID to hotspot for the navigation hotspots all was working for me.
All the hotspots that have the information symbol when clicked popped open a text box with sound.
I tested all hotspots in both nodes.

If your still getting problems check the file type, remember HTML5 requires different files types for different browsers.
Also I would not put the sounds in the skin. I would use the media editor and set loop to -1.
Then give each a unique ID. Then you can simply use the action play media and then the ID of the sound file you need to play.

Hi Hopki,

I solved the problem by renaming the sound 2 and 20. Don´t no why, but that caused any confusion. It is working now without using the media editor.

What do you mean by
HTML5 requires different files types for different browsers
?

With HTML5 the browser has to be able to play the sound natively.
So Safari .MP3 and Firefox and Chrome .ogg.
This said I did read somewhere that these will also support mp3, not sure if they do now or not without testing.
Have a look at this web page: http://www.html5tutorial.info/html5-audio.php
Pano2VR version 4.x can convert formats to be used, please see: https://ggnome.com/wiki/Generating_an_Alternative_File
