Hi
Related to the latest buzz in publishing panos inside facebook and co, I run into some more basic problem.
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=9603
How to get the droplet work in Windows ?
I'm on windows 7 OS
I extract the zip to the desktop but I cannot get it as droplet
so what I did instead
a) I created a new droplet on desktop
b) I pointed the dropletshortcut to the folder of the p2vr file in the zip on my harddisk
c) I copied all html + skin files to the pano2vr Folder
d) when creating pano via droplet I now get error that it cannot write to C:/skin.js and 3 other files... all under the C:/...
What step am I missing ? An chance anyone can point out the error I'm doing?
thx

Droplets are created for how your own computer is setup. It is better to create a droplet with File|Save As Droplet ..., than copy it from someone else and try modifying it.

Hi Jim
It's what I did now ;
I open the droplet.p2vr file and create the output
but I do not know if all files get created correctly because in the droplet folder there were many script files probably processed by the droplet code?
I'm about to setup the ssl cerificate for my site so I cannot test it right away if what I'm doing is correct.
Attached my output perhaps somebody could test it and give feedback if it can be posted as is on facebook?
Thx

Hi Jim,
Tony
I'm thinking it might be better just to have the 2 Pano2VR projects in the asset files and let people create their own from it. What do you think.JimWatters wrote:Droplets are created for how your own computer is setup.

Hi
Well I just recreate my own p2vr file and droplet.
My question, as in the
\6X3_Drop.app\Contents\Resources Folder
there are files like
pano2vrdroplet.incs
and a folder called "script"
does this NOT matter. Did you not do some special programming to your droplet in order to check those scriptfiles ?
If not, then I'm on the correct road
If yes.. then I have to investigate more..
thx

If you are using placeholders to define the paths to where files will be written and those placeholders are empty then you will probably get an error about writing files.
