Dear Friends,

I'm during testing Pano2V before I buy it.

I've got two problems during batch conversion from 6 cube files to Equirectangual.

1. First is that it doesn't produce separate files, but always overwrites one file. I'm using $n on the end of file name. Am I doing something wrong?
2. Second thing is that it can take source files only from Program Files/Pano 2VR folder. I can't force it to load images from another location.

Thank in advantage for your help!

Regards,
kcpr

Hi,
The batch file has an input image file selected so it is this it will use for all!
Set the input to Auto with no file selected.
Open the batch window then all you need to do is drop the first cube face of each set of six, then run the batch.

Thank You!

But I've got 6 separated images of cubic. When I use Auto it processes only first image of 6, doesn't recognize that there are 5 more...
And I've got first image transformed to Equirectangual.

HI,
Not sure what your doing so here is a step by step.

Open New Pano2VR, new project.
Workout your Equirec size should be, so if your cube face for example is 1250 x 1250 then the Transformation output will be Equirec 5000 x 2500 which your project is :)
Output file path should end with $n so the default I'm using is output/$n.jpg and I would use jpg or tif, not png as a format.

At this point there is no input image and don't add any.

Open the batch window. Grab one of the six cubes, does not matter which one from each set of cubes, in my test a use cube 0 from one set, cube 1 from another, cube 2 from the next and so on.

Hit the Run button.
Panp2VR produces an output folder with Equires, one for each set of six cubes.
The output folder will appear in the same directory as the input cub faces.

Works for me.

Hopki

OK,

I've managed to get it work. The problem was in file numbers.

Pono 2VR accepts only _1 _2 ... etc, but my 3d program generates _0001 _0002 etc. numbers.

That was source of issue. It would be great to enable more flexibility in file numberings in future verions of Pano 2VR.

All Best!

Can I ask why you converting to Equirec?
Its better to keep cubes and one less save which could decrease quality.
